Umrah by road from Qatar

 

Going from Qatar to Saudia Makkah is a journey in which we can learn a lot. Here I am sharing my experience and some recommendations. 

1. Try to get finger print scanning on border earlier, as might it will take a big time to get it done.

2. Try take a break of at least 4 hours in between long during as it's around 1500 km journey from Qatar to makkah

3. Try to have internet access on the way, best is to buy Saudia local sim which will cost around 60 SAR

4. Don't cross the speed limits at any point. 

5. Check oil, water, air pressure etc etc before starting journey

6. Use booking. Com to have advance booking of stay

7. Keep some medicines like pain killers., panadol etc with u always. 

8. Try to drive in day light
