How to increase RIZQ

Here are key Islamic ways to increase Rizq (sustenance and blessings), according to Qur’an, Hadith, and teachings of scholars:

🌿 Spiritual & Faith-Based Actions

Taqwa (God-consciousness):
Allah says: “And whoever fears Allah, He will make for him a way out and provide for him from where he does not expect.” (Surah At-Talaq 65:2–3)

Tawakkul (Trust in Allah):
Rely fully on Allah after putting in sincere effort.

Istighfar (Seeking forgiveness often):
The Prophet ï·º said:
“Whoever constantly seeks forgiveness, Allah will provide him a way out of every distress and a relief from every anxiety, and will provide sustenance from where he does not expect.” (Abu Dawood)

Salah (Regular prayer):
Establishing prayer brings barakah (blessing) in life and sustenance.

Dua for Rizq:
Regularly make dua such as:
“Allahumma inni as’aluka rizqan tayyiban, wa ‘ilman nafi‘an, wa ‘amalan mutaqabbalan.”
(O Allah, I ask You for good and halal sustenance, beneficial knowledge, and accepted deeds.)

Reciting Surah Al-Waqiah:
The Prophet ï·º said: “Whoever recites Surah Al-Waqiah every night will never be afflicted by poverty.” (Ibn Asakir)

💰 Ethical & Practical Means

Honesty in earning:
Barakah comes with halal and truthful dealings.

Charity (Sadaqah):
The Prophet ï·º said: “Charity does not decrease wealth.” (Muslim)

Maintaining family ties (Silat ar-Rahm):
“Whoever wishes that his provision be increased and his life be extended, let him maintain ties of kinship.” (Bukhari & Muslim)

Helping others & being generous:
Allah increases rizq for those who ease others’ difficulties.

Early work and avoiding laziness:

🕋 Heart & Character

Contentment (Qana‘ah):
Being grateful and content brings unseen barakah.

Shukr (Gratitude):

Avoiding sins and haram income:
Sins can block rizq; repentance reopens doors of blessings.
